In July 2006, Manny Padilla started an equipment rental company called Pronto Services. After he and Trimble worked together on the set of Transformers later that summer, they decided to merge their companies. Go For Locations Inc. was officially incorporated on 21 February 2007.
The goal of Go For Locations is to consistently provide cheap, efficient, and friendly services to the community of Location Managers and to the greater film industry.
Scott Trimble was raised in Northern California where he earned a degree in archæology at U.C. Berkeley. After his first Location Scout job in January 1999, he continued doing locations in San Francisco for five years. He started working in Los Angeles in Summer 2000 and moved there permanently in March 2004. Some of his credits include Iron Man 2, Star Trek, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Transformers, and Mission: Impossible 3.
Manny Padilla is a Los Angeles native who owes his current career to having been picked up in front of Home Depot. Okay, not exactly, but a chance encounter there did eventually lead to his first few jobs as an Assistant Location Manager. Some of his credits include Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Four Christmases, CSI, Transformers, and Big Love.
Gilbert De La Torre manages the daily operations of the equipment rental and set cleaning services. He has previously worked for JCL Barricade Inc. and as an officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. He works too in the music industry as DJ G-Shock.
Marla Padilla is the friendly voice that takes care of much of the paperwork. Without her dedicated support, the company would have ceased to exist a very long time ago.
Daniel Granville is the tech mastermind behind the Go For Websites service. A graduate of U.C. Berkeley in Linguistics, his regular job is running the computer servers of the Union Bank of California.
